FIRST LEGO League Challenge - Grades 4-8:

Join us for an exciting journey into the past through the lens of robotics and discovery! In the 2025 season of the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Challenge, students will explore archaeology through a STEM-powered mission titled "Unearthed." This season invites young innovators to uncover the stories behind ancient artifacts, tools, technologies, and artistic achievements — all while building and programming autonomous LEGO robots!


🧠 What Students Will Do

  • Engage in hands-on STEM learning through research, design, and problem-solving.
  • Use creativity and collaboration to build and program a LEGO robot that completes mission-based challenges on the Robot Game field.
  • Dive into real-world archaeology and innovation to develop a solution to a themed challenge.
  • Develop critical teamwork and communication skills through friendly competition.

  • When: Saturdays, 10:30 AM – 1:30PM

September 12th to December 20th

  • Where: The Wonder Workshop at Discovery Science Musuem
  • Snacks Provided: Yes 🍽️

🏆 Competition Ready

The program prepares students for participation in the New England FIRST LEGO League Challenge Competitions scheduled for December 2025. Consistent attendance is essential to help teams iterate, improve, and get competition-ready.

We strongly encourage students to attend the majority of sessions to ensure they are fully prepared to compete and contribute to their team’s success.
