What is SYEP?
The Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) provides paid work experience to Atlanta youth ages 14-24 during the summer months. The program connects young people with employers across diverse industries, offering:
- Meaningful employment with competitive wages
- Professional skill development and workplace readiness training
- Mentorship from experienced supervisors
- Career exploration in high-growth sectors
- Financial literacy and economic opportunity
SYEP is more than a summer jobs program. SYEP is a strategic investment in Atlanta's future workforce, a public safety intervention, and a commitment to making Atlanta the best place to raise a child.
