Join Arts for Lawrence for a summer filled with fun & creative visual and performing arts! Campers will work with professional visual artists and performing arts groups at the NEW Fort Ben Cultural Campus. Mornings are devoted to visual arts, including watercolors, textiles, ceramics, collage, digital art, etc. In the afternoons, students create and rehearse performances with dance companies, theatre troupes, puppeteers, storytellers, and musicians. Each week of camp ends with a camper art show and performance.


Week 1: June 13-17

Morning: Various Visual Arts

Afternoon: Dance with Dance Kaleidoscope & Puppetry with Stevens Puppets

Week 2: June 20-24

Morning: Various Visual Arts

Afternoon: Dance with Crossroads Dance Indy & Global Percussion with Adam Riviere

Week 3: June 27-July 1

Morning: Various Visual Arts

Afternoon: Acting with REACT, formerly Young Actors Theatre

Week 4: July 11-15:

Morning: Various Visual Arts

Afternoon: Storytelling with Storytelling Arts Indiana


Camp fees are $150/per week. Before and aftercare (7:30 a.m. to 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.) is available for an additional $50/per week. All children are offered a healthy sack lunch from Summer Servings, free of charge, or may bring a sack lunch from home.

Campers must be dropped off and picked up in front of the Theater at the Fort, located at 8920 Otis Avenue, Indianapolis, IN 46216, on the NEW Fort Ben Cultural Campus.
