Description
Youth will choose to participate in one or more weekly sessions of Raising Voices Community Youth Choir, BUMP Inspiration and Gospel Community Youth Choir, Ananse Training Choir, Global Griot Theatre Troupe, Theatre Tech, Steel Drums Ensemble, Visual Arts Studio, Visual Arts Portfolio Studio, African Drumming, W. African Balafon Ensemble, Movement for Healing and Affirmation, Dance Styles, DJ / Turntablism, Strings, Piano, Drums, Guitar, Brass, and/or Woodwind instruments. All sessions are led by African-Diasporic culture bearers and enrichment artists in our local community. Registration also includes a discounted week of BUMP's Summer Youth Artist Retreat in June 2025 and various cultural enrichment events, performances, workshops, and activities throughout the season that build artistic proficiency, African diasporic cultural and heritage knowledge, resilience, and community! Space is limited.
