Description
Youth will choose to participate in one or more weekly sessions of various African Diasporic arts sessions in multiple disciplines. Please click HERE to select the sessions you are interested in and we will contact you to confirm your seat, finalize your schedule and assign an instrument if needed. All sessions are led by African-Diasporic culture bearers and enrichment artists in our local community. We are asking for a $52 registration activities fee to help offset the cost of lesson materials and supplies. NO CHILD WILL BE TURNED AWAY FOR AN INABILITY TO PAY THIS FEE. However, we ask that you pay it if and when you are able by July 31st. Registration also includes various cultural enrichment events, BUMP Jams and other performances, workshops, and activities throughout the season that build artistic proficiency, African diasporic cultural and heritage knowledge, resilience, and community! Space is limited.
