Description
In this 4 hour hands-on experiential workshop, participants will get an opportunity to learn more about the world of AI while engaging in a hands-on exercise to help them build skills by completing a creative project using generative AI. This promises to be an engaging, fun, and collaborative experience.
Outcomes:
- Understand the basics of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and its applications
- Recognize how AI is used in various industries and professions
- Gain hands-on experience using AI tools to create a project
- Develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills through AI-based activities
Goals:
- Introduce kids to AI concepts in an engaging and age-appropriate manner
- Provide opportunities for kids to interact with AI tools and create their own projects
- Foster creativity, collaboration, and innovation through AI-based activities
- Inspire kids to explore further and consider AI-related careers in the future
Curriculum:
- Introduction to AI (30 minutes)
- Define AI and its basic concepts
- Discuss examples of AI in everyday life (e.g., virtual assistants, recommendation systems)
- Engage kids with interactive questions and discussions
- AI in the Professional World (30 minutes)
- Explore how AI is used in various industries (e.g., healthcare, finance, entertainment)
