STEAM/Drones Camp- Rising 7th-8th Graders- Block B
Please use this registration form to enroll your child in Summer Camp at Belle Chasse Academy.
In order to ensure a place in our summer camp, please select multiple options for the A and B Blocks. Each camper will get two activities.
If you have already enrolled your child in Summer Academic Programming, you DO NOT need to enroll them again in Summer Camp.
Summer Programming will take place at BCA Monday- Thursday, June 3-27, 2023, 8:00 am-12:00 pm.
We will be closed on June 19, 2024 in observance of Juneteenth.

STEAM Camp will offers hands-on opportunities to see how Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics can be tied together to create opportunities in exploration and innovation. Upper elementary and middle school students will…
· Learn to fly and program Drones, they will learn to use the engineering Design process to keep track of what does and doesn’t work when programing their drones, and they will develop communication skills when competing on our RADC practice field.
· Learn coding skills and robotics while coding and working with Ozobots.
· Design and build Rube Goldberg contraptions which connect simple machines and the domino effect to accomplish simple tasks with great effect.
· Study biology and environmental factors impacting our world today.
· Learn about force and motion while launching water balloons with a sling shot.
