Description
Students will learn to love their traditions and learn more about their Latin cultural roots. It will help to empower their self-confidence by developing a pride in their culture as they perform for their family, friends, and community. They will learn traditional folk dances from Latin countries with indigenous influences. This will help them to understand cultural traditions as they learn about the dances and their meaning. Folklorico is an art form that uses physical movement to express love and passion through music and rhythm. It is the rhythm of our past, roots, soul, and history that we cannot forget, and that makes us stronger.
