Bridge Builders Foundation
E.E. Just Marine Science Program, UC Santa Barbara
The Bridge Builders Foundation E.E. Just Marine Summer Science Program is a hands-on marine science experience that introduces underrepresented youth to Southern California's coastal ecosystems while inspiring future careers in STEM.
The program includes interactive weekend experiences at the Aquarium of the Pacific and CSU Long Beach's Shark Lab. It culminates in an immersive, overnight weekend university trip to the University of California, Santa Barbara. During the weekend trip, students will visit local beaches, tidepools, and campus research facilities as well as gain exposure to marine biodiversity, ocean conservation, and STEM pathways. The overnight experience also builds community, fosters independence, and allows students to envision themselves in college and careers in the ocean.

- Friday, July 31st : Aquarium of the Pacific
- Saturday, August 1st : CSULB Shark Lab

- Friday, August 7th : CSULB Shark Lab
- Saturday, August 8th : CSULB Shark Lab
Weekend 3: Overnight Stay
- Friday - Sunday August 14th - 16th : University of California, Santa Barbara
