Description
Bridges Community Economic Development Corporation offers a high-quality afterschool program in Carson, CA for students in grades 1 through 12. Rooted in a whole-child approach, the program supports students' academic, social, and emotional development in a safe and nurturing environment. Trained and caring staff, including credentialed teachers, are dedicated to meeting each student’s individual needs.
Key features include:
- A safe, supportive space that fosters social-emotional learning
- One-on-one academic and social support
- Completion of homework packets
- Test preparation and tutoring
- Reading and comprehension support
- Weekly STEAM and community-building activities
- Daily snacks and nutritious dinner on Wednesdays

Bridges focuses on more than academics—nurturing confidence, curiosity, character, and connection. Through meaningful relationships, enrichment, and structured support, students thrive both in and beyond the classroom.
