Description

Everett Community Growers (ECG) is a youth-led food justice organization, which focuses on making sure the community in Everett has access to healthy and affordable food, grown right here in the city in two community gardens and two urban farms. Primary responsibilities include participating in food production (planting, harvesting, weeding, watering, etc.), tracking harvested produce (weighing and documenting, whether donated or sold), ensuring farm site is clean and inviting through general upkeep, and delivering produce to food pantries. Applicants must be able to lift 40b and work outdoors in all weather, fluency in two or more of Everett's most widely spoken languages (English, Spanish, Portuguese, Haitian Creole) highly preferred.
