Position Restaurant Cashier

Fuentes Kitchen is seeking a reliable and customer-oriented individual to join their team as a Restaurant Cashier. As the first point of contact for our guests, the cashier plays a crucial role in providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive dining experience.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers warmly and assist them in placing their orders.
2. Accurately process transactions using the point-of-sale (POS) system, handling cash, credit/debit cards.
3. Calculate and issue change accurately.
4. Maintain a clean and organized cashier station, including restocking supplies as needed.
5. Answer customer inquiries and address any concerns or complaints in a professional manner.
6. Collaborate with other restaurant staff to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.
7. Adhere to all food safety and hygiene regulations.
8. Assist with other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements:

1. Previous experience as a cashier or in a customer service role is preferred but not required.
2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
4. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
5. Basic math skills.
6. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
