Description
The Immigrant Family Services Institute aims to be a leader in meeting the emerging needs of immigrants in the United States by supporting their transition into the social and economic fabric of the country with justice and dignity. Youth at our site will gain hands-on experience in administrative support, customer service, and community program assistance while developing essential workplace skills such as communication, teamwork, time management, professionalism, and basic computer proficiency. Participants will also take on responsibilities such as translating (requiring bilingual ability), data entry, and community outreach, including working at events, as well as assisting with organizing community programs and supporting educational initiatives—providing valuable exposure to real work environments and leadership opportunities.
