Little Minds in Motion Assistant – Youth Position
The Little Minds in Motion Assistant helps support staff with a morning early childhood program for young children. This role is perfect for youth who are interested in babysitting, childcare, or early childhood education. Assistants will help create a fun, safe, and engaging environment for children through play, activities, and learning.
Program Hours:
9:00 AM – 12:00 PM (Morning Program)
Responsibilities:
- Help supervise and interact with young children during activities
- Assist staff with setting up and cleaning up toys, games, and learning materials
- Support children during playtime, crafts, and group activities
- Help keep the space organized and safe for children
- Encourage positive behavior and participation
- Assist staff with transitions between activities
Preferred Skills:
- Interest in childcare, babysitting, or early childhood education
- Patient, responsible, and caring attitude
- Enjoys working with young children
- Ability to follow directions from program staff
- Good communication and teamwork skills
This position is a great opportunity for youth who want to gain experience working with young children and learn skills related to babysitting and childcare.
