Description

As a catering company that has been in business for over 60 years, Rita's Catering has made its mark on the industry by providing quality food made from scratch to social and corporate events, universities, office buildings, and more. Two positions are available here: Food Prep and Delivery Assistant. All applicants must be passionate about food production and catering.

Food Prep responsibilities include: preparing cooking ingredients by washing and chopping vegetables, cutting meat etc., undertaking basic cooking duties such as reducing sauces, parboiling food etc., prepare simple dishes such as salads, entrees etc., and maintaining a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash etc. Must be comfortable working in a cold room prepping food. Shifts are either 5am-10am or 6am-11am, Mon-Fri. Must be 18 years old, not 17.

Delivery Assistant responsibilities include: packing out food deliveries, setting up for the following day, prepping dressing and paper products for efficiency, and traveling along with drivers to set up catering orders. Must be able to lift 50lb. Shifts are either 6am-11am or 7am-12pm, Mon-Fri.
