Job Description:
We are looking for motivated youth who have an interest in becoming a barber to join our team as a Barber Assistant. This position offers hands-on experience in a professional barbershop setting and an opportunity to learn foundational barbering skills and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers as they enter the barbershop
- Assist with customer service and check-ins
- Maintain a clean and organized shop environment
- Sweep and clean the shop floor regularly
- Organize barber tools and supplies, including clippers
- Properly clean and sanitize barber clippers and equipment
- Observe and learn basic barber techniques and shop operations
Qualifications:
- Strong interest in barbering or the grooming industry
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Responsible and dependable
