Do you ever stop to wonder who imagined and created the spaces you live, study, and work in every day? Are you curious about the way stuff works? Do you find yourself questioning your surroundings and wondering how you can make them better? If so, we 

At the Hideo Sasaki Foundation we partner with Sasaki, one of the most multi-disciplinary design firms in the industry, to introduce students to the powerful and impactful world of design. Through a six-week paid internship students are guided through a design project by experts in architecture, urban planning, landscape architecture, and much more to gain an understanding of the industry and what it's like to work on a collaborative design project.

We would love for you to join our team if you: 

• are a current Boston-area high school student (rising 9th-12th graders from Boston, Cambridge, Chelsea, Everett, Malden, Somerville)
• never take anything for granted
• are always setting goals and finding ways to achieve them
• are curious
• are interested in a job where you get to think creatively every day
• are looking for a challenge
• are excited about learning
• are not afraid to ask questions or share your ideas
• want to learn how you can make a difference in the community around you

Through the program you will be able to:

• Earn money while you learn
• Build up your resume and professional network
• Meet new people and make new friends
• Explore Boston this summer
• Get to know experts in the fields of architecture, urban planning, and landscape design
• Learn new design skills
• Discover a new career option
• Design a project with a team of youth and design professionals
