Position Summary:

As a Marketing and Communication Intern at Weigh Better U, you will assist in promoting their gym’s services, managing social media channels, and supporting communication efforts. You will gain hands-on experience in the fitness industry and marketing while working alongside our marketing and communication team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in creating and scheduling engaging content (posts, stories, videos) across various social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.).
• Monitor social media channels, respond to customer inquiries, and engage with followers to build community interaction.
• Collaborate in producing promotional content, including blog posts, newsletters, and marketing materials.
• Assist with creating videos, images, and graphics for social media, the gym website, and email campaigns.
• Help develop fitness tips, success stories, and client testimonials to be shared with the gym community.
• Assist in drafting and sending out email newsletters and promotional offers to gym members and prospects.
• Support in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns to increase gym memberships, attendance, and brand awareness.
• Research industry trends, competitor marketing strategies, and consumer preferences.
• Help analyze customer feedback and surveys to improve communication strategies.
• Assist in responding to inquiries from members through email, phone, or social media.

Qualifications:

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Creative mindset with an interest in fitness, wellness, and health promotion.
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) and digital marketing tools.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
• Enthusiastic and passionate about fitness and promoting healthy lifestyles.
