Description
Teen Mental Health First Aid is needed now more than ever. This training is designed to empower teens to support their peers. Our goal is to equip young people with the skills to:
- Recognize the signs and symptoms of mental health challenges and substance use in other teens
- Support a friend who may be experiencing a mental health crisis
- Connect their peers to trusted adults and professional resources for additional help
Together, we can build a community where teens look out for one another and no one feels alone.
This will be an 8-hour training. Participants must attend the entire session to become certified. Educators can receive 6.5 CEU credits. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
