Description
Youth Mental Health First Aid is needed more than ever. We are working to meet the community's demand for YMHFA certification. We want to increase the number of adults who develop the basic skills to recognize the signs and symptoms of mental health challenges and substance use in youth; assist youth who are experiencing a mental health crisis; and connect youth to professional resources that can provide additional care.
This will be an 8-hour training. Participants must attend the entire session to become certified. Educators can receive 6.5 CEU credits. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
