Description

The Detroit Police Law Enforcement Explorers program is an educational, career, and special interest (non-profit) organization, geared to meet the needs and concerns of high school age young adults. Through structured programing, the Explorers are exposed to the day to day operations of the Detroit Police Department, allowing them the opportunity of learning various skills, while exposing them to the field of law enforcement.

Exploring is a nationally recognized, work-site based program associated with Learning for Life and Boy Scouts of America. The Detroit Police Department has been a partner since 1972.
