Description
Session 5 - Woodshop on Wheels
Deeply Ingrained is partnering with Freewheelin' Community Bikes summer camp to offer hands on woodworking enrichment activities. Each session meets twice in one week for 1 1/2 hours. Each session is a new project that the participants will keep at the end of the session.
Registered Participants of Freewheelin' Summer Camp register at a significantly reduced rate.

Participants will learn basic woodworking skills, such as how to measure, mark and the safe use of the required tools. Each participant starts with uncut raw materials and leaves the workshop with a sense of accomplishment, pride and a functional finished project.
Through our programming participants will:
- Increase their knowledge of tools and materials
- Have a positive experience
- Have pride in their work
- Gain confidence in themselves
- Be interested in learning more about woodworking or other trades
- Demonstrate proper tool precautions and safety
- Have a completed project
- Have fun!
