Description
Learn from Kodak Independent Soul Award winner Writer/Director/Animator Tawd b. Dorenfeld the open-minded ways to create an animation out of nothing, using a variety of traditional animation techniques to do what a computer could never do without a person operating it. 2D hand-drawn, photography sequencing, pixelation (animating actual people), stop-motion, cut-out, sand, fabric, found objects, sculpture, soft clay, replacement, motion graphics, and whatever else we can get your hands on.
Director Dorenfeld is known for his music video work for System of a Down, The Offspring, Erykah Badu, Zap Mama, George Clinton, Fishbone, Secret Chiefs 3, Ministry, Electric Daisy Carnival, Skatopia, The Residents, and his Experimental award-winning feature film The Anna Cabrini Chronicles, Aylaqruh:hurqalyA.
Along with our Afterschool HQ Application, be sure to include Samples of the artist's work. Illustrations, Paintings, Doodles, Animation, and/or Video Samples.
