Description
Learn from a King of Music Video Production - Director Douglas Freel. Director Freel has been at the helm of directing some of the biggest and smallest music videos from the 80s through the Thousands. Director Freel has directed videos for but not limited to Def Leppard, Chili Peppers, Skrillex, Ministry, Henry Rollins, Roxette, Lincoln Park, Metallica, Kiss, System of a Down... etc.
Director Freel will educate you on:
- How to think about Music Videos
- How the bands think about Music Videos
- How the Labels think about Music Videos
- and then what you as a blossoming Director needs to know to manage all of those different expectations and pitch a Music Video idea that will land you the job
This is not a production class. This is a writing, speaking, and conversational course.
