Grades: 5th to 12th
Description
After School Creative Arts and Crafts - Mental Mindfulness Club
Ages: 11–17 (5th Grade to High School Senior)
Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM
Location: Ambition H.Q. Creative Arts and Tech Hive / Ohio Selfie World Foundation
Why Should You Sign Up?
Give your child a safe, inspiring, and empowering space to grow after the school bell rings. Our year-round program bridges the gap between creative exploration and mental wellness, offering a consistent environment where middle and high school students can unwind, discover their passions, and build meaningful peer connections. Led by dedicated professionals, our club provides a positive alternative to unstructured afternoons, ensuring participants stay engaged, supported, and motivated all year long.
What Will Your Child Get Out of It?
- Mental Mindfulness & Emotional Resilience: Through guided discussions, daily "Know Cards" reflection, and expressive arts therapies, students learn healthy coping mechanisms to manage stress, reduce anxiety, and navigate everyday challenges with confidence.
- Creative Skill-Building: Participants dive into hands-on studio time exploring visual arts, crafts, digital design (like Canva), and gallery-style presentations, helping them discover and refine their unique artistic voices.
- Life & Leadership Skills: From collaborative group projects and community outreach initiatives to basic independent living and vocational readiness, members develop practical tools that set them up for future success.
- Prosocial Growth & Teamwork: Interactive group settings and team-building games (like our student-favorite, Uno) foster strong communication skills, positive sportsmanship, and lasting peer friendships.
What Should to Expect
- A Structured, Welcoming Routine: Running Monday through Thursday from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, students step into a welcoming environment modeled to feel "like home."
- Balanced After-School Engagement: Each afternoon blends relaxation with purposeful activity—ranging from emotional check-ins and creative workshops to shared facility upkeep and community-focused projects.
- A Safe & Inclusive Environment: Every student is valued as an individual, supported through their personal growth, and encouraged to participate voluntarily at their own pace within a structured therapeutic milieu.
Secure your child's spot today and let them thrive in a community built for creativity, wellness, and success!
