The Ambition H.Q. Youth Earn & Learn Program is a comprehensive youth development initiative that combines workforce readiness, behavioral health support, social-emotional learning, entrepreneurship, and career exploration to help young people build successful futures.

Serving youth ages 11–24 (based on program eligibility), our innovative model recognizes that career success begins with personal wellness. Through paid work-based learning opportunities, evidence-based behavioral health programming, and mentorship, participants develop the skills, confidence, and support systems needed to thrive in school, work, and life.

Youth engage in workforce development activities including career exploration, workplace readiness training, professional communication, resume building, interview preparation, leadership development, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship education. Participants gain hands-on experience while learning valuable employment and life skills that prepare them for long-term success.

Behavioral health services are delivered by qualified specialists using evidence-based Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) curriculum and trauma-informed practices. Youth receive support in emotional regulation, self-awareness, goal setting, conflict resolution, relationship building, decision-making, stress management, and overall wellness. Services are fully compliant and designed to meet the individual developmental and behavioral health needs of each participant.

Through wraparound family support, caregivers are connected to community resources, behavioral health services, educational opportunities, and other supports that strengthen family stability and improve outcomes for youth. Families are viewed as essential partners in the success of every participant.

The program proudly aligns with the goals of Ohio RISE by helping youth and families access the right supports at the right time. Our approach promotes family engagement, strengthens protective factors, improves youth functioning across home, school, work, and community settings, and helps reduce barriers that may prevent young people from reaching their full potential.
