TUE 26/27 - Kinder BTC/ELOP

Welcome to our Kinder and TK Beyond The Classroom (BTC) in our Expanded Learning Opportunities Program (ELOP Program)!


My team and I look forward to serving you and your family. 


Important Information: 

  1. Students who are registered and accepted to ELOP/BTC will be picked up at the end of the school day from their classes by the ELOP Staff. Students are supervised at all times as safety is our primary concern.
  2. Students are provided meals during BTC/ELOP - Lunch for TK at 11:30 and supper at 2:30 PM. Supper for Kinder at 2:30 PM
  3. Students follow a structured schedule in the PM with play, rest, and early learning activities. Learning Activities (pre-academic activities such as language, math, etc.) are play-based with an emphasis on Social Emotional, Communication and Self-Help skills.
  4. The schedule will be emailed to all registered families along with the attendance and behavior policies and procedures .
  5. Kinder and TK students will be combined between 2:00 - 3:00 PM. 
  6. ONLY 40 students total from both Kinder and TK will be accepted initially on a first come first come basis due to limited space. Others will be placed on a waiting list.
  7. We maintain a 1:10 ration in our TK/K Program.
  8. The emphasis of our TK/K classes is Social Emotional and Communication along with the pre-academic skills taught during the school day
  9. Pick up times are 2:00 PM, 3:00 PM, 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM. 3:00 PM pick up is on Wed and it may be an option for the rest of the days.
  10. Ms. Amanda Loza is our TK/K Early Learning Support Facilitator/Lead Teacher working with the staff from the Boys and Girls Club

Students who are picked up EARLY or LATE 3 or more times may be dropped from the program after a meeting as this will give the opportunity for students to be placed on the waiting list.

We are excited to be a part of your child's educational journey. An email confirmation will be sent to families accepted to the program along with the Daily Schedule.

Attendance is monitored daily.  2-3 absences,  early pick and or late pick up may result in being dropped from the program.  Behavior expectations during and after school are the same.  Positive Behavior strategies are implemented consistently.
