Description
Mrs. Clack, 3rd grade teacher, will be providing math instruction in small group settings for students to increase and improve outcomes. This class is for students who have been recommended for extra support. Teacher will be using the district adopted math curriculum, SAVAAS and supplementary resources to teach specific math skills the student needs, then provide explicit, systematic, and targeted instruction using engaging activities and graphic organizers.
Parents are encouraged to work with students on the application of math concepts in their day to day lives at least 20-30 minutes daily. Also working with students on their homework and asking students about math concepts they learnt in school and practice math skills learned in school to help students to apply the information learned in school in their daily lives.
