TUE & TH (3-4 PM) 3-5th Grade Flag Football with Ms. Niesha

Welcome to BTC/ELOP!

`

Grades: 3rd to 5th

Description

The Key aspects and skills include learning passing/running plays, flag pulling, using a smaller ball (Pee-Wee/Junior size), and developing sportsmanship with rules similar to tackle but emphasizing safety, making it great for skill development and enjoyment.

Practices will be held from 3:00 - 4:00 PM and when needed 4:00 - 5:00 PM. During practice students will learn fundamental skills, teamwork, and fun through simplified rules, often 5v5, with rotations through positions like QB, RB, WR, teaching core concepts in a positive, no-contact environment.

Students must participate in practices to be eligible to participate in games as these skills give athletes the chance to put their practice into action and compete in a fun, supportive environment.

Completed Consent forms are required to participate in matches. Matches will be played from 4:00 - 5:00 PM at ERE and other schools. Transportation will not be provided by the district for road/travel games. Parents are requested to pick students between 3:30 - 3:45PM and transport them to the scheduled locations. Students are required to attend the Flag Football Class on the days of matches (MON & WED) even though the class is held on TUE & TH.
