About Our TRADE Program:
Our Trade Program is designed to teach students the basics of construction & design in a hands-on way while preparing them for success in any career they may embark on. Our classes are 12-16 weeks long.
Over the course of the Trade Program students will be taught:
- Construction 101: 10-16 weeks
- What are Trades and how much do they pay.
- Learning safety procedures and tool safety for construction.
- Learning to Identify and use basic tools.
- Learning Material and tool planning for projects
- Learning basics of measuring and cutting materials
- Building something from scratch
- Using creativity to create a products
- Electrical 101 6-8 weeks
- What is Electricity
- Electrical Safety
- Tool Identification and uses
- Basic wiring of plugs, outlets, and lights.
- Calculating watts, amps, and volts
- Trouble shooting problems with connections
Due to safety and capacity, our classes are limited to 12 students per class.Your instructor will communicate the time of your class.
