Description

Jounce+ is based on a structured STEAM curriculum. Jounce+ is designed for students to be learning and doing - it is all hands on and fun and never like more school work!

Curriculum:

S.T.E.A.M. Curriculum: (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math)

Using curriculum provided by LEGO, NASA and more, students will be engaged through hands-on activities that relate to a wide array of interests and careers. On a regular basis, guest teachers are brought in from a variety of careers to show how the skills learned apply to their work. 

Volunteer and Recreational Opportunities:

Jounce+ will volunteer with local non-profits such as Haywood Christian Ministries, Pathways, Music Makers and more! We believe that each student and family is better when connected to their local communities and giving back. Jounce+ will also have frequent field trips for local recreational opportunities! Our rec opportunities include swimming, paddleboarding, biking, hockey, fly fishing, and more. 

Program Dates:

Jounce Plus is open everyday after school from 3-5pm. Jounce Plus follows Haywood County Schools Schedule and is not open on early dismissals.
