Post-Teen Internship Support: Continued Growth and Community Engagement

The For Oak Cliff Teen Internship Program is designed to provide transformative opportunities for student engagement and experiential learning within the Oak Cliff community. However, the formal internship role is limited to the summer term.

To support the ongoing development and community involvement of our program alumni, we are excited to offer Post-Teen Internship Support. This initiative ensures that the impact of the internship experience extends far beyond the summer months, empowering young people to maintain their momentum and continue making a difference.

Through this program, former teen interns will have access to:

Mentorship and Coaching: Receive guidance and support from experienced professionals who can help navigate the transition from internship to future endeavors, whether that be continued education, career exploration, or entrepreneurial pursuits.

Alumni Network: Connect with a thriving community of past participants, fostering peer-to-peer relationships, collaborative projects, and a shared sense of purpose.

Skill-Building Workshops: Participate in targeted workshops and training sessions to further develop leadership capabilities, professional skills, and community engagement strategies.

Volunteer and Leadership Opportunities: Engage in ongoing volunteer work, community organizing initiatives, and opportunities to assume leadership roles within the For Oak Cliff ecosystem.
