Description

Choir led by Mr. Caldwell.Choir introduces students to vocal performance, ensemble singing, and music literacy.

Under the guidance of the band teacher, students learn healthy vocal techniques, pitch

accuracy, and harmony through a variety of musical genres and styles. Students develop

confidence, discipline, and teamwork while performing at school and community events.

Academic Connections:

Students strengthen reading fluency, listening skills, and appreciation for cultural diversity

through music.

Standards Alignment (California Arts Standards – Music Grade 6):

• 6.MU:Pr4.2 – Demonstrate understanding of music notation and expressive qualities in

performance.
