International Culinary (Cooking) Class

Description

Nutrition Service Assistants lead 4-week classes highlighting Global Flavors from Mexico, Japan, the Mediterranean, India, and the Philippines.

  • Each week, students (virtually) “travel” to a different country, learn about its culture, participate in a team activity, and prepare a side dish inspired by that country.
  • The side dish is then paired with a culturally relevant entrée prepared by our Nutrition Services team.
  • On the last day of class, a special meal is prepared by Nutrition Services in celebration of students completing the 4-week cycle.
