🏐 Herk Bouris Beyond the Classroom Volleyball Team (Grades 3–5)
Join the Beyond the Classroom Volleyball Team and experience teamwork, skill-building, and friendly competition! Open to students in grades 3–5, this exciting afterschool opportunity helps students develop coordination, sportsmanship, and a love for the game.
Practice Schedule

- Days: Mondays & Wednesdays
- Time: 4:00 PM – 5:00 PM

- Wednesday, December 10, 2025: QVE @ HBE – Home Game
- Monday, January 12, 2026: HBE @ ERE – Away Game
Playoffs:

Details
- Participation is free for all enrolled students.
- Parents are responsible for transporting students to away games.
- Each player will receive a team t-shirt or jersey to wear during games.
- Students should wear dark-colored pants or shorts for all practices and games.
We are thrilled to have Coach Jeff Cristan, our amazing custodian, leading the team this season! His dedication and energy make every practice fun, encouraging, and full of school spirit.

Volleyball practices will be on Tuesdays and Thursdays, from 2:45PM-4:00PM at Herk Bouris Elementary. Students who are not currently enrolled in the Beyond the Classroom Program have the option of remaining after school on practice days (Tues/Thurs). Students who opt to remain after school will report to Herk Hall (MPR) to eat supper from 2:20-2:45PM and then report to the field for practice. Students who are not enrolled in the regular Beyond the Classroom program will need to be picked up at 4:00PM on Tuesdays and Thursdays practice days.
