Description
Our Elementary Soccer Program for Grades 4–5 offers students an exciting opportunity to build skills, stay active, and be part of a team in a fun and supportive environment. Participants will learn and practice fundamental soccer skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, and basic game strategies while developing teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence. Practices will be held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00–4:00 PM beginning March 19, 2026, and the season will include games against other elementary schools, starting April 20, 2026. Participation is first come, first served with limited space, and a waitlist will be created, with the possibility of adding a second team based on interest. ⚽
Nuestro Programa de Fútbol para estudiantes de 3.º a 5.º grado ofrece a los estudiantes una emocionante oportunidad para desarrollar habilidades, mantenerse activos y formar parte de un equipo en un ambiente divertido y de apoyo. Los participantes aprenderán y practicarán habilidades fundamentales como driblar, pasar, tirar a gol y estrategias básicas de juego, mientras desarrollan el trabajo en equipo, el espíritu deportivo y la confianza. Las prácticas se llevarán a cabo los martes y jueves de 3:00 a 4:00 PM, comenzando el 19 de marzo de 2026, y la temporada incluirá partidos contra otras escuelas primarias, comenzando el 20 de abril de 2026. Students who are not enrolled in the regular Beyond the Classroom Program will have the option to stay after school on practice days and participate in the program, including supper from 2:20–3:00 PM. Coach Jeff will meet students on the field at 3:00 PM for practice. Please note that practices are closed to parents. Students will be dismissed from the fourth grade hallway doors (near the yellow Herk Bouris sign/mural).
