Description

The Intro Karate class is specifically designed for the younger student, open to Kindergartners and those 1st graders new to the program. We work on gross- and fine-motor skills, following directions, self-control, balance, agility, & hand-eye coordination, all while teaching the basics of karate and self-defense. Students will graduate to the Advanced Karate class when they have demonstrated the self-control and readiness for a longer, more intense class. Students 2nd grade and older should enroll in the after-school Advanced Karate class, even if this is their first experience in the martial arts.

The registration fee is $52.49

We will meet from 8:30 AM to 9:05 AM every Wed starting 4/8/2020 and ending on 5/27/2020

Students can be dropped off at the AYS door as early as 8:15 am. They will have time for a restroom break before we begin at 8:30 am. Students who arrive after class begins at 8:30 am will need to be escorted to the dance room. We will finish in time for students to have breakfast, if they wish, and make it to their classroom before final bell.
