Description
Come join our karate community! Classes at our dojo at Northwood Christian Church. We accept adult and youth students as young as 6 years, including parents and other adults. We meet three days a week. This package allows for one class per week. You can attend in person, outdoor classes for all ranks (weather permitting) on Wednesday, 4:30-5:30 pm; Friday, 4:30-5:30 pm; or Saturday, 3-4 pm. OR if you are comfortable training inside, join us for the all rank indoor class on Wednesday, 5:30-6:30 pm; Friday, 5:30-6:30 pm; or Saturday, 4:00-5:00 pm. Select which day is best for you, or mix it up as your schedule permits. We also offer online classes on Tuesdays at 5:15 pm and Saturdays 9:00-10:00 am, register for this separate class on AfterSchoolHQ.com/HernlyFamilyKarate/ . More info needed? Our karate style is Shorei Goju Ryu, an American blend of two Okinawan styles. We focus on self-defense, forms, and sparring. Benefits include increased strength, flexibility, balance, and confidence. We teach situational awareness and how to defend yourself if something does arise. Plus, it is fun! Classes are open to kids and adults 6 years or older and skill levels.

Each day, the first class is held outdoors, the second class is indoors. If weather doesn't cooperate, we may meet downstairs in the Fellowship Hall. Come to the glass doors on the south-side of the building, nearer the large parking area. If the doors are locked, ring the bell for entry. There will be an instructor present no later than 15 min before each class.
