Description
The Intro Karate program is especially designed for the younger student. This shorter class is for Pre- K, Kindergarteners, and those first graders new to the program. We focus on self-control, listening skills, following directions, gross- and fine-motor skills, balance, coordination, and more, all while teaching the basics of karate and self-defense. If your student is in 2nd grade or higher, check out our Advanced Karate class at IPS 60 on Tuesdays after school.

We have yet to be assigned a room for this class. Look for upcoming messages regarding drop-off locations. Students should arrive between 8:15 & 8:25 am. They will have time for a restroom break before we begin at 8:30 am. We will finish in time for students to have breakfast, if they wish, and make it to their classroom before final bell. Students in Before Care will be picked up by staff before class.
