Description
The Intro Karate program is especially designed for the younger student. This shorter class is for Pre- K, Kindergarteners, and those first graders new to the program. We focus on self-control, listening skills, following directions, gross- and fine-motor skills, balance, coordination, and more, all while teaching the basics of karate and self-defense. If your student is in 2nd grade or higher, register for the Advanced Karate class.

Class will be held in the gym. NOTE! NEW DROPOFF LOCATION! Students should be dropped off at the AYS entrance (door #6) between 8:15 and 8:25 am. Students enrolled in AYS will be picked-up from the cafeteria. Students will have time for a restroom break before we begin at 8:30 am. We will finish in time for students to have breakfast, if they wish, and make it to their classroom before final bell.
