Description
The Intro Karate program is especially designed for the younger student. This shorter class is for Pre- K, Kindergarteners, & first graders, as well as second graders new to the program. We focus on self-control, listening skills, following directions, gross- and fine-motor skills, balance, coordination, and more, all while teaching the basics of karate and self-defense. If your student is in 3nd grade or higher, check out our Advanced Karate class. If your student has been in karate with Hernly Family Karate before, feel free to contact us at 317-253-3849 to confirm which class will be best for your student.

You may drop off your student between 8:15 and 8:25 am at the AYS door. We will then move to our assigned room (in the past, the multipurpose room) so we can begin promptly at 8:30 am. If you arrive late, please escort your student to our assigned room.
