Description

The Intro Karate program is especially designed for the younger student. This class is for Pre-K, Kindergarteners, & first graders, as well as second graders new to the program. We focus on self-control, listening skills, following directions, gross- and fine-motor skills, balance, coordination, and more, all while teaching the basics of karate and self-defense.

If your student is in 3nd grade or higher, check out our Advanced Karate class. If your student has been in karate with Hernly Family Karate before, feel free to contact us at 317-253-3849 (text first, please) to confirm which class will be best for your student.

PLEASE NOTE: You are submitting an APPLICATION to be accepted in the program. A seat in the program will be offered by receiving an INVOICE, and REGISTRATION will be complete upon receipt of payment.

If you do not receive an e-mail confirming your application, PLEASE check your junk or spam folder to be sure you are receiving e-mail from <noreply@AfterSchoolHQ.com>. This will be my primary means of communication with you!

You may drop off your student between 8:15 and 8:25 am at the AYS door (entrance #6) so we can begin promptly at 8:30 am. Students enrolled in morning AYS will be picked-up from the cafeteria.

Please do NOT drop off your student before 8:15 am as there will be no one to supervise them until we arrive. Please contact the AYS program at your school if you need an earlier drop-off. Late arrivals deprive your child of the full instruction time, and are disruptive to the class. Please do all you can to arrive by 8:25 am.
