Description
The Program: Karate for continuing students as well as new students 2nd grade and older. Students begin as white belts and progress through the belt ranks. Continuing students will work on their rank material for their next belt. Students in Pre-K or Kindergarten should register for the IPS 87 - Intro Karate class on Tuesday Mornings. If you are unsure which class your child should be in, please contact Sensei Hernly at hfamilykarate@gmail.com.
Martial arts has been shown to help with balance, core strength, attention span, and self-control, coordination, self-defense, goal setting, cooperation, decision-making skills, and flexibility. Plus it’s FUN!
Uniforms are optional and can be purchased at any time for $30.

We normally meet in the Music Room. Please pick-up your child promptly at 4:45 pm. If you arrive before 4:45 pm, please enter the main doors and come to the Music Room. Students will be escorted to the door nearest the gym after class. Students who are not picked-up on time will be asked to leave the program, so please arrange a reliable adult to pick-up your child.
