Description
Ballet in the Bronx is dedicated to providing a holistic, rigorous, and culturally relevant dance experience for children in Hunts Point. 2nd through 8th grade scholars learn the fundamentals of ballet, modern dance, and human anatomy to understand the basics of form, function, and movement. Scholars are taught by professional dance instructors, and classes occur three days a week from 3:00pm-6:00pm during the school year. Scholars have two showcase performances for the community, one in December and one in June.
