ImPowered Minds is excited to partner with Matthew 14:17 Charters to launch the Ropes-N-Rods program. This luxury charter experience is designed to teach life skills through fishing, offering three children and an adult a unique adventure that combines boat captain training with an exciting fishing trip.

Activities and Skills:

Participants will learn a variety of fishing and boating skills, including:

• Shore Tying at the Dock: Secure a boat safely.
• Gathering and Filling the Bait Well: Catch and maintain bait fish.
• Fishing for Targeted Species: Strategies for catching specific fish.
• Reading Wind and Tide: Navigate using charts and natural elements.
• Navigating Barriers: Maneuver safely with or without signage.
• Fishing Knots with Rod and Reel: Learn essential fishing knots.
• Baiting the Hook: Techniques for live, artificial, and cut bait.
• Casting the Rod and Reel: Precision and casting techniques.
• Fishing Techniques: Specialized methods for various species.
• Returning to the Dock: Docking and shore tying procedures.
• Cleaning and Packaging Fish: Proper handling of the catch.

Pricing: $550 (4 max)

The program includes a 26ft vessel and a 4-hour inshore fishing trip with pickup from Ruskin, Florida.
