Dear Parents,

We are excited to announce that this year marks our 4th Annual Spring Break Fishing Adventure! 🎣

This program has become a favorite for kids and families, offering a fun, educational, and engaging outdoor experience during spring break.

Organized in partnership with ImPowered Minds, this adventure is supported by the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) and the Florida Youth Conservation Centers Network (FYCCN). The FWC plays a crucial role in conserving Florida’s natural resources and providing outdoor education, while FYCCN focuses on connecting youth and families to nature through hands-on experiences like fishing, boating, and wildlife exploration.

Our goal is to introduce children to the joys of fishing while teaching them valuable life skills such as patience, teamwork, and an appreciation for nature.

Each day, participants will:

✅ Learn different fishing techniques

✅ Discover local fish species and their habitats

✅ Gain essential water safety knowledge

✅ Understand conservation efforts and responsible angling

Program Highlights:

• Hands-on Fishing Experience – Kids will get the chance to fish in a safe and guided environment.
• Educational Workshops – Learn about different species, habitats, and best fishing practices.
• Outdoor Fun & Games – Activities designed to keep kids active and engaged.
• Daily Challenges & Prizes – Friendly competitions with fun rewards!
• All Equipment Provided – No need to bring anything; we’ll supply rods, bait, and tackle.

Transportation Information:

🚗 For Parents Driving Directly to the Fishing Location:

• Please arrive at Tenoroc Fish Management Area (address above) by 9:30 AM for check-in.
• Pickup from the fishing location will be at 3:30 PM.

🚌 For Parents Choosing Bus Transportation:

• Drop-off Location: 7416 E Mohawk Ave, Tampa, FL 33610
• Drop-off Time: Between 7:00 AM – 7:45 AM
• Pickup Time: 4:00 PM at the same drop-off location.

Please ensure your child arrives on time for transportation. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. Looking forward to a great day of fishing! 🎣

⏰ Time: Events will begin at 10am

👦 Ages: Open to kids 8-17 (If your child is not old enough to participate, they are welcome to stay with you as long as you plan to remain at the event)
