Teens In Action™ Tampa Program Registration

Welcome to the Teens In Action™ Tampa Program registration page! This 10-month civic engagement and leadership program is designed for students in grades 9 through 12 from Hillsborough County. Our program is grounded in emotional intelligence learning, aiming to equip teens with the skills necessary for personal, academic, and professional success.

Program Overview

Participants will engage in monthly workshops featuring insightful guest speakers who will guide them in developing key emotional intelligence skills. These skills are crucial for fostering empathy, enhancing communication, and building leadership abilities.

Key Features of the Program:

• Emotional Intelligence Workshops: Monthly workshops that provide a foundation in emotional intelligence with practical tools for real-world application.
• Community Service: Teens will apply their learning through weekly volunteer opportunities, earning a minimum of 36 community service hours. These hours are applicable toward a Bright Futures Scholarship.
• Personalized Volunteer Experience: Participants can choose a service site in their field of interest, allowing them to explore potential career paths while giving back to the community.
