Description
The RISING Mentoring Program is a unique mentorship experience created to help Englewood youth, ages 12-15, explore their potential through the power of connection. Designed with a focus on sisterhood for girls and brotherhood for boys, the program provides a safe and supportive space where participants can grow personally, develop leadership skills, and learn about a variety of career paths.
Program Highlights:
- Weekly Meetings: Participants will meet once a week for six-weeks to engage in hands-on, interactive activities centered around career exploration and personal development.
- Weekly Focus: Each week, participants will connect with professionals from various career fields, gain insight into their personal stories, and learn about the challenges and successes along their career journeys, offering inspiration and practical advice for their own futures.
- Field Trips: Participants will go on 2-3 field trips designed to broaden their perspectives, provide first-hand experiences, and foster a deeper understanding of themselves and diverse cultures.
