Enrichment Skateboarding

Description

We are excited to inform you that your child could participate in skateboard lessons at your school the following days: Thursdays 4/25, 5/2, 5/9, 5/16. Our 120-minute 4 session skateboard lessons will cover the basics of safety and skateboard skills to help your child feel confident and learn how to ride a skateboard. During the 120-minute lesson, your child  will have time to practice with the safety equipment within the program.   Safety is important to us, so your child will be taught by a skateboard instructor. The program will start at 4:00pm and run for 120 minutes.  Your child will need to stay after school on the dates and be picked up at Door 15 at 6:00pm.   The Program is for 4 weeks.  Dates and times will be: 4/25, 5/2, 5/9, 5/16 from 4:00-6:00pm.

Please dress your child in flexible clothes and all students must wear tennis shoes to participate. If you have multiple children participating in lessons, please complete a form for each child.  Please understand there will be falls with learning the skills of skateboarding  to balancing on the board and learning new tricks.  IPS will take full measurements of providing your child with all the safety equipment and protocols in each session.  Students will need to make sure attention in this program is given at 100% in each session.
