How do you enroll in the Jazz Power Youth Workshop?
After successful completion of the audition and family interview, students are invited to enroll in the 28-week Jazz Power Youth Workshop (Oct.-June) for a one time registration fee of $50.00. Reduced fee waivers are available upon request. The full value of this program is over $2500. This form is your registration.
What is the location and schedule of the Jazz Power Youth Workshop 2026 - 2027?
- Location: The People’s Theatre: Centro Cultural Inmigrante, 206th and 10th Avenue, Inwood, NYC
- October – February : Training 2-3 times/week
*Tuesdays: Percussion lessons as assigned on Tuesdays 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Wednesdays: group lessons from 4:00 -6:30 pm.
Saturdays: Jazz Power Fundamentals 12:00 -2:00 p.m.
*private lessons as assigned.
Performances:
- Showcase performance for all students December 16, 2026
- High School Devised Theatre Showcase in Studio Theatre: February 2-6, 2027
- February – June : Jazz Power Musical, 1-3 times per week
- Jazz Power Musical Performance: June 16 - 20, 2027
